Top-Rated Elementary Schools in South Windsor, CT

School districts have had a tremendous impact on real estate.

2020 report from the National Association (NAR) reveals that 46% of homebuyers aged 30-39 years said the quality of a school district influenced their decision to buy a house in a particular neighborhood.

Studies have also shown that home values rise when they’re located in a highly-rated school district. In 2019, NAR reported that counties with the highest gains in enrollment over seven years saw a 33% average increase in home prices.

Upgraded Facilities and Services

The district’s elementary schools upgraded their facilities and services just before classes opened this September. They:

  • Introduced a new elementary math program.
  • Expanded world language instruction to fifth grade.

These changes prove that the schools are committed to enhancing their academic program, improving the ratio of teachers to students, and creating an inclusive culture among students.

South Windsor School District and Hybrid Learning

Like everything else, the school district has had to adapt to the spread of COVID-19. As schools across America make the difficult decision of opting for in-classroom or distance learning, South Windsor is adopting a “hybrid” learning model – as one group attends in-school classes, another group learns online.
